Please note: This is a drop-off event for children aged 6-12 years old. Children must be signed in and out by their parent or caregiver.
The ‘Hour of Code™’ is a global initiative during Computer Science Education Week (3-9 Dec) to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer programming.
Kids can try:
Who’s it for? 6-12 year olds who have had little or no coding experience.
What’s involved? One hour of fun computer coding basics using Code.org.
What to bring? A charged laptop, iPad, or tablet that can connect to the internet, and a charger.
When and where? Saturday 8th December at St Mary’s Peace Lounge, 44 Vivian St (Opposite the Taranaki Cathedral). Sessions run for one hour and start at either 9am or 10am.
