At Discovery Lab, they’ll learn about computer coding, making websites, and staying safe online (digital citizenship).
Digital Citizenship is a core part of our learning – this covers keeping ourselves and others safe online, what to do about online bullying, and how to protect your privacy and security in an online world.
In light of the current Covid situation, Discovery Lab has again made the tough decision NOT to run in-person classes during Term 3 of 2020. We will be assessing the situation as it develops, and really hope to be back for Term 4.
Stay safe, look after each other, and use the opportunity to ‘fix stuff’ at home Discovery Lab style!
Coding helps build literacy, maths and problem solving skills, and sparks a child’s creativity through building their own websites, games and apps. Try learning new languages like Blockly, Python and HTML!
Get physical! At Discovery Lab we teach kids about electronics and how things actually work. Students learn by taking things apart and even get the chance to build and code their very own Robot!
